First and foremost, Marlin is a husband to one and a father of three. His greatest desire as a father has always been to raise children with an unshakable faith in Jesus Christ, grounded in God's Word and prepared to stand firm against the pressures of the world. That commitment became the driving force behind Be a Warrior, Not a Wanderer.

 

A graduate of Point Loma Nazarene College, Marlin is a Christian author, missionary, Bible teacher, and apologist who has spent more than three decades helping believers know God's Word, defend their faith, and live according to Scripture.

His ministry has included international missions, humanitarian outreach, evangelism, and prison ministry in maximum- and low-security facilities, sharing biblical truth and the message of God's grace, forgiveness, and redemption. He has also established and led apologetics ministries throughout the western United States, teaching through speaking engagements, radio broadcasts, conferences, and educational outreach. His passion for Creation apologetics led him to become a founding charter member of the Creation Museum, helping raise support for its opening in Northern Kentucky.

 

Above all, Marlin believes his greatest ministry begins at home. He is passionate about equipping parents, especially fathers, to disciple their children and prepare the next generation to know, love, obey, and faithfully follow Jesus Christ.
